Learn the fundamentals and marvels of Medicinal Fungi, who have been and continue to be highly valued as food and medicine all over the world. They have long been prized for their power to enhance immune health, vitality, longevity and graceful aging for thousands of years in many Asian cultures including: China, Tibet, Korea and Japan.
In this lecture, demonstrative and hands-on style class, you will learn the medicinal properties of 5 different commercially available mushrooms, best ways to prepare and enjoy them (including in-class preparation of two delicious consumables) and how to choose the best quality for optimal therapeutic efficacy. Participants will go home with a fungi sample for at home enjoyment.
Class cost includes materials, in-class consumables, handouts, take-home medicinal mushrooms for at home preparation and enjoyment.
