Titanium dioxide creates opacity, allowing for a foundation that covers blemishes and evens skin tone.  It has light scattering and whitening properties, repels water, and adheres to the skin.  Titanium dioxide increases coverage, adhesion, and doesn t clump as easily as Zinc Oxide, especially in liquid foundation recipes.  It is considered to be very safe for use on skin as long as it isn t coated, micronized, or nano-ized. Our Titanium Dioxide follows these guidelines, and is oil soluble.
